Highway & Street Projects
Stark Excavating routinely handles concrete paving of city streets and private subdivision streets. Stark Excavating has also completed airport runway and taxiway paving projects for the FAA at the Central Illinois Regional Airport. Our Slip Form Paver enables us to complete some streets curb-to-curb in a single pass. We also have curb and bidwell machines to complete paving jobs in a more traditional two-pass fashion.

| Two Pass Process with Concrete Placement | |
|
The following two pictures are from a paving job with structural rebar that required the concrete mix be placed in the new roadway from the outer edge of the roadway. The "placing" process was handled with a concrete pump truck.
