Evolution of a Project from Start to Finish
To capture the essence of what the Stark Companies do on a day-in day-out basis, a couple of project have been documented from start to finish.
Both Stark Excavating and Stark Materials were at ground zero with Munie Green Care for the reconstruction of Bradley University's soccer field at Shea Stadium in Peoria, IL. A short video presentation that runs in Windows Media Player can be seen by clicking on one of the following links (based on your internet connection speed):

An other project completed by Stark Excavating was the reconstruction of a portion of Washington Street in Bloomington, IL. The following array of pictures will provide some perspective on how the various business components come together at Stark Excavating. The Washington Street project called for:
Demolition of 3 existing railroad bridge structures & retaining walls
Salvage of thousands of pavement bricks to be reused later on a section of the job
Backfilling and compacting the existing underpass channel that carried the vehicular traffic on Washington Street
Installation of new fresh water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer infrastructure
Construction of a custom, built on-site, box culvert to accommodate pedestrian traffic on a reconstructed section of the Constitution Trail
Construction of the new Washington Street curbs, roadway and sidewalks
Construction of a new section of Constitution Trail under Washington Street
Reconstruction of the brick road that leads to the historic David Davis Mansion.
